The Piece
The most demanding piece in the maison's catalogue. A graduated line of brilliant cut diamonds — seven point six carats total — set in white gold along the curve of the throat, with the largest stones falling at the centre and tapering toward the clasp at the nape.
Each stone is hand-matched for fire and colour; the line is graded so the cascade reads as continuous from any angle. Worn at the décolletage, the piece catches and holds the candlelight that, in a long room, no other surface can hold so completely.
